Ultimate Chocolate Frappe & Chocolate Layer Cake

Ingredients:
For the Chocolate Cake:
* 2 cups all-purpose flour
* ¾ cup cocoa powder
* 2 cups sugar
* 2 tsp baking powder
* 1½ tsp baking soda
* ½ tsp salt
* 2 eggs
* 1 cup milk
* ½ cup vegetable oil
* 2 tsp vanilla extract
* 1 cup hot coffee or hot water
For the Chocolate Ganache:
* 1 cup heavy cream
* 1½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
For the Chocolate Frappe:
* 2 cups milk
* 2 cups ice
* 3 tbsp chocolate syrup
* 2 scoops chocolate ice cream
* 2 tbsp cocoa powder
* Whipped cream
* Chocolate chips for topping
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two round cake pans.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
3. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
4. Slowly stir in hot coffee or water until batter becomes thin and glossy.
5. Divide batter between pans and bake for 30–35 minutes. Cool completely.
6. For the ganache, heat heavy cream until steaming, then pour over chocolate chips. Let sit 2 minutes and stir until smooth.
7. Layer and frost cake with chocolate ganache. Drizzle extra ganache over the top for a glossy finish.
8. For the frappe, blend milk, ice, chocolate syrup, cocoa powder, and chocolate ice cream until creamy.
9. Pour into glasses and top with whipped cream, chocolate drizzle, and chocolate chips.
Pro Tip:
Add a pinch of espresso powder to both the cake batter and frappe to intensify the rich chocolate flavor without making it taste like coffee! ☕🍫
