Ingredients:
* 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
* 1 ½ tsp baking powder
* ¼ tsp salt
* ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
* ¾ cup granulated sugar
* 2 large eggs
* 1 tsp vanilla extract
* ½ cup whole milk
* ½ cup sour cream
* ¾ cup chopped fresh strawberries
* ½ cup strawberry jam or compote
* ½ cup white chocolate chips, melted
* Fresh strawberries for topping
* Extra melted white chocolate for drizzling (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
2. In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
3. In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well.
4. Mix in vanilla, milk, and sour cream until smooth.
5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients. Mix until just combined.
6. Fold in chopped strawberries and half the melted white chocolate.
7. Pour half the batter into the cake pan. Swirl in half the jam with a knife. Repeat with remaining batter and jam.
8. Bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool completely.
9. Drizzle with remaining melted white chocolate and top with fresh strawberries before serving.
