Ingredients:
12 lasagna noodles
1 lb ground beef
2 cups marinara sauce
1 cup ricotta cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried basil
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions and set aside.
2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté briefly.
3. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
4. Stir in marinara sauce, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
5. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese with egg and a pinch of salt.
6. In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of meat sauce.
7. Add a layer of noodles, then ricotta mixture, meat sauce, and mozzarella cheese.
8. Repeat layers until ingredients are used, finishing with mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
9. Bake for 40–45 minutes until golden and bubbly.
10. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
