Gooey Chocolate Caramel Turtle Cake Roll

Ingredients:

4 eggs

3/4 cup sugar

1/4 cup cocoa powder

3/4 cup all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

1 tsp vanilla extract

Filling:

1 cup whipped cream or cream cheese filling

1/2 cup caramel sauce

1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

Topping:

1 cup chocolate ganache

1/2 cup caramel sauce (extra for drizzle)

1/4 cup chopped nuts

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Beat eggs and sugar until light and fluffy, then mix in vanilla.

3. Sift in cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt. Gently fold until combined.

4. Spread batter evenly into the prepared pan and bake for 12–15 minutes.

5. While warm, roll the cake (with parchment) into a log and let it cool completely.

6. Unroll the cake and spread whipped cream filling evenly.

7. Drizzle caramel sauce and sprinkle chopped nuts over the filling.

8. Carefully roll the cake back into a tight log.

9. Pour chocolate ganache over the top and drizzle with extra caramel.

10. Finish with chopped nuts and chill slightly before slicing.
