Banana Caramel Cheesecake Delight

Ingredients:

2 cups graham cracker crumbs

1/2 cup melted butter

2 tablespoons sugar

3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

3 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup sour cream

2 ripe bananas, sliced

1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

1/2 cup caramel sauce (plus extra for topping)

1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).

2. Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust.

3. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.

4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla and sour cream.

5. Pour half of the cheesecake batter over the crust.

6. Layer sliced bananas, chopped nuts, and drizzle caramel sauce over the batter.

7. Pour the remaining cheesecake batter on top and smooth the surface.

8. Bake for about 55–60 minutes, until the center is slightly set.

9. Turn off oven and let cheesecake cool inside with the door slightly open.

10. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.

11. Before serving, drizzle with caramel sauce and garnish with banana slices and nuts.

Pro Tip:

For extra indulgence, lightly toast the nuts before adding them to bring out a deeper, richer flavor!
