Maid-Rite Sliders

 🍔🧀 Maid-Rite Sliders 🥒🔥

Classic loose-meat sliders with melty cheese and tangy pickles on soft buns — simple, juicy, and irresistibly nostalgic 😋

Ingredients:

1½ lb ground beef (80/20 works best)

1 small onion, very finely chopped

1 cup beef broth

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tbsp yellow mustard

1 tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

½ tsp garlic powder

Slider buns or dinner rolls

Sliced cheddar cheese

Dill pickle slices

Instructions:

1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add ground beef and onion. Cook while breaking the meat apart until browned and very fine.

2. Drain excess grease if needed, but keep the meat juicy.

3. Stir in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

4. Simmer uncovered for 10–15 minutes until the liquid reduces and the meat is moist but not soupy.

5. Split slider buns and lightly toast if desired.

6. Spoon loose meat generously onto bottom buns.

7. Top immediately with sliced cheddar so it melts from the heat.

8. Add pickles, cover with top buns, and serve warm.

Pro Tip:

For ultra-soft buns like classic Maid-Rite style, brush the buns with melted butter and warm them covered for a few minutes before assembling 🧈✨
