Comfort food heaven with creamy mashed potatoes, savory meatloaf, melty cheese, and rich gravy! 🤤


Ingredients:


* 1 1/2 lbs ground beef

* 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

* 1/4 cup milk

* 1 egg

* 1 small onion, finely chopped

* 2 garlic cloves, minced

* Salt and pepper to taste

* 4 cups mashed potatoes (prepared with butter & cream)

* 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

* 1/4 cup chopped green onions or parsley (optional)

* 1 cup brown gravy (store-bought or homemade)


Instructions:


1. **Preheat oven** to 375°F (190°C).

2. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.

3. Press the meat mixture evenly into the bottom of a greased 9x13 baking dish. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.

4. Spread warm mashed potatoes evenly over the cooked meatloaf base.

5. Sprinkle shredded cheese generously on top.

6. Return to oven and bake for another 15–20 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.

7. Drizzle with hot brown gravy and sprinkle with chopped herbs or green onions before serving.


Pro Tip:

Add cooked crumbled bacon and a dollop of sour cream on top for the full "loaded potato" experience!
