A sweet, salty, and creamy layered dessert that’s always a crowd favorite! 🍓🥄



Ingredients:


* 2 cups crushed pretzels

* 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

* 3 tablespoons sugar

* 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

* 1 cup sugar

* 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping (like Cool Whip)

* 2 packages (3 oz each) strawberry gelatin (Jell-O)

* 2 cups boiling water

* 3 cups sliced fresh strawberries


Instructions:


1. **Preheat oven** to 350°F (175°C).

2. **Make crust:** In a bowl, mix crushed pretzels, melted butter, and 3 tbsp sugar. Press firmly into the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish. Bake for 10 minutes. Let cool completely.

3. **Make cream layer:** Beat cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping. Spread evenly over cooled crust. Chill for 30 minutes.

4. **Prepare strawberry layer:** Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Let cool to room temperature (do not let it set).

5. Arrange sliced strawberries over the cream layer. Pour cooled gelatin carefully over the top.

6. **Chill** for at least 3 hours, or until fully set.

7. **Top with mini pretzels** if desired for garnish. Slice and serve!


Pro Tip:

Make sure the cream layer seals all the edges to prevent the Jell-O from seeping into the crust!
