**Ingredients:**
*Crust:*
* 1 1/2 cups crushed chocolate sandwich cookies or chocolate graham crackers
* 1/4 cup melted butter
*Cheesecake Filling:*
* 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
* 1 cup sugar
* 1/2 cup sour cream
* 3 large eggs
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
*German Chocolate Topping:*
* 1 cup evaporated milk
* 1 cup sugar
* 3 egg yolks
* 1/2 cup butter
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 1 1/3 cups sweetened shredded coconut
* 1 cup chopped pecans
* 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (for drizzle)
**Instructions:**
1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C).
2. Combine crust ingredients, press into a springform pan, and bake for 10 minutes. Let cool.
3. Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar, sour cream, eggs, and vanilla. Mix until creamy.
4. Pour filling over the cooled crust and bake for 60 minutes, or until center is just set.
5. Let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
6. For the topping, combine evaporated milk, sugar, egg yolks, butter, and vanilla in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until thickened (about 10-12 minutes), stirring constantly.
7. Stir in coconut and pecans, then let cool slightly.
8. Spoon topping over chilled cheesecake. Melt chocolate chips and drizzle over the top.
