Ingredients:
* 4 ripe bananas, sliced
* 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
* 1 cup brown sugar
* 1/2 cup granulated sugar
* 1 tsp cinnamon
* 1/4 tsp nutmeg
* 1 tsp vanilla extract
* 1/4 cup dark rum (optional for classic Foster flavor)
* 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
* 2 tsp baking powder
* 1/2 tsp salt
* 1 cup milk
* Vanilla ice cream (for serving)
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking dish.
2. In a skillet over medium heat, combine butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and rum (if using). Stir until melted and smooth.
3. Add sliced bananas to the skillet and gently toss in the sauce. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes, then remove from heat.
