Deep Fried Marshmallows

Crispy golden outside, gooey marshmallow center—pure carnival-style magic in every bite!


Ingredients:


* 20 large marshmallows

* 1 cup pancake mix or all-purpose flour

* 2/3 cup milk

* 1 egg

* 1 tbsp sugar

* 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

* Powdered sugar (for dusting)

* Oil for frying


Instructions:


1. In a bowl, mix pancake mix (or flour), milk, egg, sugar, and vanilla until you get a smooth batter.

2. Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).

3. Dip each marshmallow into the batter using a fork or skewer, coating fully.

4. Carefully drop into hot oil and fry for 20–30 seconds or until golden brown.

5. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

6. Dust with powdered sugar while still warm and serve immediately!


Pro Tip:

For extra flair, freeze the marshmallows for 15 minutes before frying to help them hold their shape and get even gooier inside!
