A warm, gooey dessert with soft cinnamon apples, buttery crumble topping, and a scoop of ice cream! 😋


Ingredients:


**For the Bread Pudding:**


* 5 cups cubed day-old brioche or French bread

* 2 cups peeled and diced apples (like Granny Smith)

* 4 large eggs

* 2 cups whole milk

* 1/2 cup heavy cream

* 1/2 cup brown sugar

* 1/4 cup granulated sugar

* 2 tsp cinnamon

* 1 tsp vanilla extract

* Pinch of salt


**For the Crumble Topping:**


* 1/2 cup flour

* 1/3 cup brown sugar

* 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed

* 1/2 tsp cinnamon


**For Serving:**


* Caramel sauce

* Vanilla ice cream

* Optional drizzle of cream or icing


Instructions:


1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9 baking dish.

2. In a large bowl, whisk eggs, milk, cream, both sugars, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt.

3. Fold in bread cubes and apples. Let sit 10 minutes to soak.

4. Pour mixture into the baking dish and spread evenly.

5. In a small bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Cut in cold butter until crumbly.

6. Sprinkle crumble topping over the bread pudding.

7. Bake for 40–45 minutes, until golden and set in the center.

8. Cool slightly and serve warm with ice cream, caramel drizzle, and optional icing.

Use a mix of tart and sweet apples for extra depth of flavor, and toast the bread cubes slightly beforehand for better texture!
