Ingredients:


* 1 lb ground beef

* 2 cups elbow macaroni

* 1 small onion, diced

* 2 cloves garlic, minced

* 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce

* 1 tsp Italian seasoning

* 1/2 tsp salt

* 1/4 tsp black pepper

* 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

* 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

* Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)


Instructions:


1. Cook the macaroni according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add diced onion and garlic, cooking until softened.

3. Stir in tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.

4. Add the cooked macaroni to the skillet and mix until well combined.

5. Stir in 1 1/2 cups of cheddar cheese and all the mozzarella. Mix until melted and creamy.

6. Transfer mixture to a baking dish, sprinkle the remaining cheddar on top.

7. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10-15 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top.

8. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve hot!


Pro Tip:

Try adding a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick, or mix in some sautéed bell peppers for extra flavor!
