Layers of tender pasta, rich cheese, and luxurious seafood—an elegant twist on a comfort food classic! 💕🍽️


Ingredients:


* 9 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained

* 1 tbsp olive oil

* 3 cloves garlic, minced

* 1 small onion, finely diced

* 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

* 1/2 lb lump crab meat (real or imitation)

* 2 cups ricotta cheese

* 1 egg

* 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

* 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

* 3 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

* 2 cups heavy cream

* 1/2 tsp Old Bay seasoning (or seafood seasoning)

* Salt and pepper to taste

* Optional: red pepper flakes for a kick


Instructions:


1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté garlic and onion until soft.

3. Add shrimp and cook until just pink (2–3 minutes). Stir in crab meat, then remove from heat and set aside.

4. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, 1 tbsp parsley, salt, and pepper.

5. In a saucepan, warm the heavy cream over medium heat. Stir in Old Bay, a bit of salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Simmer gently for 3–4 minutes, then remove from heat.

6. In a greased 9x13 baking dish, spread a bit of cream sauce on the bottom. Layer noodles, ricotta mixture, seafood, mozzarella, and cream sauce. Repeat layers and top with Parmesan cheese and a sprinkle of parsley.

7. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 10–15 minutes until golden and bubbly.

8. Let rest 10 minutes before slicing and serving.


Pro Tip:


Want extra flavor? Stir a little white wine or lemon zest into the cream sauce, and top with a few sautéed shrimp before serving for that wow factor!
