Chocolate Caramel Cream Cake

Decadent layers of rich chocolate cake, caramel, and fluffy cream – the ultimate indulgent dessert! 🤤

Ingredients:

* 1 box chocolate cake mix (or your favorite homemade recipe)

* 1/2 cup vegetable oil

* 3 eggs

* 1 cup water

* 1 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

* 8 oz cream cheese, softened

* 1/2 cup powdered sugar

* 1 tsp vanilla extract

* 2 cups heavy whipping cream

* Toasted coconut flakes (optional, for garnish)


Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 8-inch round cake pans.

2. In a bowl, mix cake mix, eggs, oil, and water until smooth. Divide evenly between pans and bake for 25–30 minutes. Let cool completely.

3. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.

4. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold into the cream cheese mixture to make the cream filling.

5. Slice cake layers horizontally if needed for thinner layers. Place one cake layer on a plate, spread a layer of cream filling, and drizzle with caramel.

6. Add the second cake layer and spread more caramel over the top, letting it drip down the sides.

7. Pipe or spoon dollops of the remaining cream around the edges and sprinkle with toasted coconut if using.

8. Chill in the fridge for 1 hour before slicing.

Warm the caramel sauce slightly before drizzling for that perfect glossy drip effect. And use a serrated knife to get clean cake slices!
