🌮🧀 Beef Meximelt Cheesy Taco Wraps 🔥🌯
Cheesy, beefy, and wrapped in crispy golden goodness—your new favorite Tex-Mex craving! 😋
Ingredients:
* 1 lb ground beef
* 1 packet taco seasoning
* 1/4 cup water
* 1/2 cup salsa or diced tomatoes with green chilies
* 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
* 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack or mozzarella cheese
* 4 large flour tortillas
* 1 tbsp olive oil or butter (for frying)
* Optional: chopped cilantro, sour cream for dipping
Instructions:
1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
2. Add taco seasoning and water to the beef. Stir well and let simmer for 3–4 minutes until thickened.
3. Mix in salsa or diced tomatoes and cook for another minute. Remove from heat.
4. Lay out tortillas. Add a generous spoonful of the beef mixture to the center of each one.
5. Sprinkle a mix of cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese over the beef.
6. Fold the sides in, then roll tightly into burrito-style wraps.
7. Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat. Place each wrap seam-side down and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
8. Slice in half and serve warm with sour cream or your favorite dip.
Pro Tip:
Warm your tortillas before rolling to make them easier to fold without tearing—and don’t skip the skillet crisping, it takes them to the next level! 🔥
